Token Utility

$TPO powers the core economic flows within Tensor One. It is used to access tools, reward contributors, rent compute, and enable developers to monetize AI agents.

Access to AI Tools

Users deposit $TPO into the Tensor Playground to access a suite of AI tools, including:
  • Uncensored chat interfaces
  • Text-to-image and text-to-video generation
  • Voice cloning
  • Website and app generation tools
GPU resources are allocated based on $TPO usage, allowing users to generate and deploy agents using compute rented through the platform.

Agent Monetization

Developers can publish AI agents to the Tensor Marketplace. These agents can be accessed by other users, with pricing set in $TPO. Developers may choose:
  • Pay-per-use pricing
  • Subscription models
  • Freemium or trial-based access
All payments are settled in $TPO, creating a direct connection between developer innovation and token utility.

Compute Contribution & Rewards

Users can earn $TPO by contributing compute to the network. This is done by:
  • Running a node via the Tensor Chrome Extension
  • Accepting and completing distributed tasks issued by the platform
$TPO rewards are paid out for successfully completed compute jobs, tracked and validated on-chain.

Institutional Task Submissions & Reward Flow

Enterprise clients and other high-throughput users can submit compute-intensive jobs to Tensor’s network.
  • These jobs are paid for in $TPO
  • 80% of the payment is distributed to compute providers
  • 10% is retained by Tensor One for operational costs
  • 10% is allocated to the staking rewards pool, enabling long-term revenue sharing with token holders
This creates a closed-loop economic structure where real demand funds contributor rewards, and staking incentives are backed by actual platform usage and not emissions.

Summary of Token Roles

Utility AreaDescription
Tool AccessRequired for generating content and deploying agents in the Playground
Developer RevenueUsed by creators to monetize and gate AI agents
Compute CompensationDistributed to contributors who complete platform tasks
Institutional FlowApplied as a fee on enterprise task submissions, funding rewards
Staking (Planned)Tied to platform-level revenue and demand, not inflation

Token Lifecycle

  1. Users deposit $TPO to access tools and GPU compute
  2. Developers monetize agents and receive $TPO from users
  3. Enterprises pay $TPO for compute jobs
  4. Compute Providers earn $TPO for task completion
  5. Platform retains 10% for operations and future staking pool

Future Use Cases

The following uses for $TPO are under consideration or in development:
  • Agent staking: Increase agent exposure and trust via token staking
  • Reputation weight: Link $TPO activity to contributor reputation scores
  • Agent-to-agent payments: Long-term goal to enable agents to autonomously manage $TPO
$TPO acts as the connective layer between all participants in the Tensor ecosystem by enabling meaningful usage, contribution, and economic alignment across both individual users and large-scale compute providers.
